Nostalgia
Does anybody remember the big rotary dial phones with the long stretchy cords anymore? This is a teapot I made awhile back but finally have decided to put up for sale in my Etsy Shop. It is super fun and it is a working teapot too! I love making teapots. I did a teapot show a few years back that landed me a spot in "Southern Lady" Magazine. I especially love making zany, wacky teapots.
Hmmm..Maybe I'll go throw a teapot today.

I love your new blog! The teapot is wonderful... yes I remember those phones. They were very heavy. My grandmother had a special little instrument for dialing the phone... a flat stick with a ball on the end of it that fit inside the circle. My "baby" brother (he's now 45) pulled our phone off the serving table in the dining room and it landed on his foot... I wonder if he has a scar? We had only one phone in the house, and we had a party line. We were taught early on that it was very impolite to listen to a party line conversation! Hmmm... maybe I should start drinking tea!
My grandparents still have a phone with a mile long stretchy cord. It's pretty funny!
I love this one! Such a great idea. You've got some great stuff girl!
